In line with his ongoing oversight of the National Strategic Warehouses Project, one of Egypt’s key national initiatives, Dr. Hesham Stait, Chairman of the Egyptian Unified Procurement Authority (UPA), held an extensive meeting with senior leadership from the Military Technical College (project consultant) and key officials from Orascom Construction, the project contractor. The meeting focused on reviewing the progress made to date and addressing the latest developments related to the project’s execution.

The discussion covered current implementation phases and explored potential challenges to the project timeline. Emphasis was placed on swiftly overcoming any obstacles to ensure that the project remains on track for completion as per the scheduled timeline.

Dr. Stait highlighted the strategic importance of the project as a cornerstone for enhancing Egypt’s capabilities in medical storage and logistics, stressing the need to intensify efforts to meet the highest quality standards in the completion of the work.

The meeting concluded with a firm commitment to ensuring the project’s completion and official opening by February 2026, in accordance with the planned schedule.
